Instructions
1) Pick out the photos and video clips you would like to include in your video-montage 2) Next organize them into around 4 to 6 Photo Categories. For Weddings you may want to categorize them as Family Pictures, Bride Growing Up, Groom Growing Up, Dating, etc. Other categories may be: Baby Photos, Photos from School Years, At Work Photos, etc. 3) Now organize the Photo Categories into the order you would like them to appear. (For weddings, you may like to start with a photo of each of the bride and groom's families. Then you may like to show the bride's growing up photos, followed by the groom's, and then ending with dating photos.) 4) Next you will want to order the photos in each category in the order you would like to see them. The most logical way, of course, is chronologically starting with baby pictures and then ending with more recent shots. Number each picture on the back with either a sticky note or pencil (writing directly on the back of the photo may show through the other side or damage the print). For digital photos, change the file name so that it is the number as it should appear in the sequence. Place all materials into an envelope. 5) The last thing you will need to do is choose the music you would like to go with your video-montage. You may want a different song to go with each Photo Category. Choose songs that fit with the mood and content of the images you will be showing and that have special memories for you. This could be a special song, or music from the era the photos are depicting. 6) Now put all of the Photo Category envelopes into a bigger envelope, along with your completed order form and check or money order payable to Motiontide Media. Drop this package in the mail (the address appears on your order form) and we'll take care of the rest! Your original materials and video-montage will arrive in your mailbox within 2-4 weeks from the date we receive it (unless you order rush service). Please note: While we will be returning your original materials back to you, make sure you have the negative or an extra copy of all the photos and videos that you will be sending, as video-montage.com and Motiontide Media are not responsible if these get lost. If you don't have another copy or the negative for some photos, you can take them to your local photofinisher to make a print-to-print copy. For best results, digital photos should be at least 1600x1200 pixels, jpeg (.jpg) or tiff (.tif) file formats.
